On The Edge was produced to provide a compelling argument in support of high yield agricultural production's contribution to preserving world biodiversity, species and habitats. It refutes the common argument that high yield agriculture is not sustainable and that it is in conflict with conservation goals. On The Edge provides a unique view of the role agricultural production plays in both destroying and preserving wildlife species and their environment. Fifty pages of text combined with over 60 photographs lay the groundwork for the balance of the book. The remaining 289 pages of images consist of over 330 photographs of territory and species from around the world. It provides facts about the Mountain Gorilla and its habitat; as well as descriptions of the existing challenges and disturbing history of the only area where these rare mammals exist. This book is comprised of 124 pages with 110 color photographs. Threatened Kingdom was produced on behalf of the International Gorilla Conservation Program and all proceeds from this book go to the benefit of mountain gorilla conservation. Over 12,000 copies of Threatened Kingdom have been distributed in Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Uganda for educational purposes. This book is not available from this website. Spots Before Your Eyes presents the history and facts about the cheetah species in 186 pages of text with 225 color photographs. It features a foreword by Dr. Jane Goodall. This book was co-produced with Ann van Dyk, a friend and long time supporter of the cheetah species. This book was produced for the benefit of the International Cheetah Conservation Foundation and DeWildt Cheetah and Wildlife Trust. It is not available from this website. Copies are available at selected Images of Nature Galleries (Thomas D. Mangelsen) and at the DeWildt Cheetah and Wildlife Center in South Africa . All proceeds from this book have been donated to the conservation of cheetah in Africa, with a small portion dedicated to the conservation of the mountain lion in North America.
